Medical Reserve Corps: Units of local volunteer medical, public health professionals, and community members who volunteer to contribute their skills, expertise, and time to support ongoing public health initiatives and public health emergencies in localities across Virginia.

The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) sets up medical volunteer teams. If you have the skills and training and are interested in volunteering for medical response during an emergency, please visit the Department's MRC Web pages to learn more and to sign up.
