Duties: Manages the Response Branch of the Virginia Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Program to include acting as direct supervisor for state HMOs; directing, monitoring and coordinating on-scene hazmat activity with HMOs; responding to incidents of significant magnitude, and serving as the State On-scene Coordinator; oversees the hazmat training and environmental programs branches to ensure proper unity of the programs.
