This week-long program brings together several series of Emergency Management and Incident Command System courses in a central location within the region. The format allows individuals to participate in one to three training courses during the week while minimizing travel costs for their agencies. This program is designed especially for students from Region V, Tidewater and will take place on the newly completed Tidewater Community College – Portsmouth campus from March 8-12, 2010.
Four curriculum tracks are available during the session. Students may attend any combination of courses that do not conflict with each other.

Warning Coordination/Weather Resources – this class is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, March 11-12. Enroll in: VDEM – G272: Warning Coordination, LMS Section 9.
EOC Management and Operations – this class is scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday a.m., March 9-11. Enroll in: VDEM – G775: EOC Management and Operations, LMS Section 13.
Rapid Assessment – this class is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, p.m. Enroll in: VDEM – G250.7: Rapid Assessment, LMS Section 12.
