The Virginia Department of Emergency Management is announcing a series of damage assessment training workshops to train personnel on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) standard for conducting damage assessments of residential dwellings, businesses, and public infrastructure. Local government personnel or volunteers with specific responsibility for overseeing field damage assessments and personnel who actually record damages in the field should attend this training. We hope that this course meets with your expectations and that your time with us is both enjoyable and valuable.
