Benefit-Cost Analysis Training & Mitigation Project Application Writing Overview

Course description:

This two and a half day workshop will begin with a full training session on the Benefit Cost Analysis Modules used by VDEM and FEMA to determine cost effectiveness of mitigation projects. It will then be followed up with a half-day session that will focus on mitigation project development. We will provide to you the Benefit Cost Analysis Modules, training materials, and snacks. You will need to bring a laptop computer with a CD-Rom drive. If you are unable to bring a laptop computer, please note that on your registration, and we will pair you with a person who is bringing one.

Please encourage a member of your community’s mitigation project development team to attend this very important training session if they have not already done so.

April 16-18, 2007

A maximum of 30 participants will be able to attend the BCA Training, but up to 45 participants can attend the Mitigation Project Application Writing Overview. Please be sure to sign up early!
