The National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC) is the principal vehicle through which the Office of Domestic Preparedness identifies, develops, tests and delivers training to state and local emergency responders. The NDPC membership includes ODP's Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Ala.; the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology; Louisiana State University; Texas A&M University; and the Department of Energy's National Security Technologies (LLC). ODP uses a number of specialized institutions to design and deliver its training programs. These include private contractors, other federal and state agencies, the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute at St. Petersburg Junior College, the U.S. Army's Pine Bluff Arsenal, and the National Sheriff's Association.
